For competitions 8 oz. boxing gloves are used by boxers with weight under 67 kg inclusive and 10 oz. - by boxer over 67 kg (148 lbs). Punching surface must be marked clearly by other color, most often - by white. Gloves for trainings have 12, 14 or 16 oz. weight.
